Wheel Alignment

A wheel alignment, sometimes referred to as tracking, consists in ensuring that wheels are perfectly parallel to each other, which means correcting any orientation of tires pointing inward (toe in) or outward (toe out). It is also necessary to make certain that tires are properly adjusted upright, i.e. perpendicular to the road (camber). In short, the objective is to ensure a maximum contact of the tread with the road surface to avoid the premature wear of tires and undue stress on the steering system and the suspension components. Such maintenance translates in enhanced handling, a smoother drive, better fuel economy and less air pollution.
